February 8, 200422 yr I have a question for an owner of the PMDG B737NG...While it looks attractive, do you think it worth $40??? Seems steep for an add-on.And the most important question, now that you have it and knowing what you know about it, would you buy it again??Thanks in advanceBobL

February 8, 200422 yr >While it looks attractive, do you think it worth $40??? Seems>steep for an add-on.Definitely worth $40. You feel every penny when flying it. It absolutely rules.>And the most important question, now that you have it and>knowing what you know about it, would you buy it again??Yes. And again...and again...and again...Preparing myself for 1900D already...
February 8, 200422 yr I don't normally fly airliners, and I don't have much money to spend at the moment. But I never regretted the 40$ I paid for the PMDG 737NG, and I would definitely buy it again! This plane is great in every aspect - gauges, panel, VC, external model, flight model, sound. My personal favorite are the fantastic EFIS gauges and the FMC.Just my 2c (EUR),VOlker :]
February 8, 200422 yr ... and one thing I forgot: you get numerous wonderful FREE liveries from PMDG's website. An if that's not enough, there are even more liveries at AVSIM's file library. Other companies charge for every single livery.VOlker :]
February 8, 200422 yr I think it's pretty safe to assume that the PMDG 737 is indeed the eighth wonder of the world..Get it ASAP and hang the expense.Favourite livery? - BMIBaby!Ian
February 8, 200422 yr It's easily the best flight sim addon I've ever seen. It's all I fly now and definetly worth the money.
February 8, 200422 yr Ive had the same question the last few days.. ive been trying to decide if i want to buy this abd put myself more in debt.It looks amazing and sounds amazing.. everyone has only good things to say. After reading this thread.. i think ill get it now.I usuallt only buy smaller planes. as far as airliners I have the iron knuckles dc9 and the captain sim 727. This will be my first plane with a real FMC..
February 8, 200422 yr Author Hi,In a nutshell the answer to your question is YES, the best addon I have ever used. The reason it is $40, it is no average piece of software, like just a panel. It is an entire sub-system simulator, where everything (almost) is modeled. If you want a quick go fly plane in MSFS, then this is NOT for you. The PMDG team have done just an OUTSTANDING job with this masterpiece. I was a died in the wool PIC767 guy, but these guys have gone many steps further and they are not through either. More good stuff to still come. BTW, the visual model, flight dynamics can not be equaled.Just love it.Bob
