For those thinking of building their own rig

Recommended Posts

Hay guys,For all of you who are thinking about building your own FS rig I have been keeping a detailed blog of my trip to Wyoming where I am helping my friend build a computer. He is not planning on running FS on this machine, but I am planning on building the same basic setup this summer on which I hope to run the NGX with addons at good frame rates. We hope to teach some people how to build a computer and possibly get feedback on what we could have done better. Also there is a bit of a trip report in the beginning detailing my travels from Boston to Casper WY.Here is the link to the blog: http://awesomebuild10.blogspot.com/Hope someone finds this helpful and thanks for reading!-Phil Kretschmer

Very cool Phil. I'm sure some people will find this useful. I thought you posted a Newegg ling list at the bottom there, that would have been cool and easy for others. I guess that's all I would add if possible. I liked the video also into KDEN. That's my favorite seat so I can watch the flaps, ailerons, spoilers, etc (also so I can be on fire watch ;).Oh, and yes, that farm does look like Pac Man.
