Alaska airline

HiI have fun in this days to do short route with Alaska Airline from PANC to PAFA, so i went to flightaware to check route and Cruise Altitude.For what I know as RVSM roule, we should normally fly odd on estbound direction but all record in flightaware are even and in the opposite direction are odd.Did I miss something?Another question I see they use high Cruise altitude, so I would imagine they use high cost index(is just my assumption).But I imagine that company try to save as much they can, so how you they can archive such higher altitude with lower CI for such short distance.Thank's
