Featured Replies

is there something going on with the forum? for the last 48 hours 4 out of 5 attempts to connect to the forum fail (timeout error or unable to connect). when i can get the forum to load 2 of 3 the CSS page doesn't load the the forum's formatting is lost.no other issues with any other www-site i visit, or administer (i admin five www-sites and three www-forums).it took me three attempts to get this message to post.--

haven't had or seen any issues on this end. It loads quickly for me every time. I'm connecting from Upstate NY, servers are in Herndon, VA, so not sure where the problem is but it's fine here.

well something going on i've not experienced before (and have 10 years with avsim).took me three times to get the main forum to load ('unable to connect error') and two tries to get the this sub-forum and twice to get this thread to load.again, no issue with the avsim homepage nor flightsim.com.strange ...

Considering we don't have any other reports of this, or widespread at all, I'd consider checking cache, make sure you are on the "normal" theme from the lower left page settings in the forum (could be on mobile), clear history, etc. I've been checking it periodically through the evening and it's still loading quickly for me. Sorry, I know that is not much help, but I don't see and am not able to reproduce an issue.

forum settings are all correct. today the speed is back to normal ... so maybe the denver, CO, 'hub' was having a fit.again, i saw the problem in multiple locations (a coffee shop, mcdonalds, work and home) and three different computers.--
