December 15, 201114 yr Hello,Can anyone help me. I have installed the update FMC for the PMDG to cycle 1112 and the planes above mentioned suddenly vanish but they are in the aircraft folder. Stangely even the load manager program for the PMDG planes do not work and the mention errors.I have to re install them again and once I have done this I check to see if every thing is working by loading the simulator and checking to see if all the planes are installed and everything load and runs ok. I have done this 3 times now but as soon as I install the FMC Cycle 1112 they disapear from the aircraft menu in FS9.Kind regards and a Merry Christmas aka santaClaudio
December 16, 201114 yr I'd take this to the Navigraph support forum. I assume Navigraph was the source of the AIRAC. I wonder if the cycle is installing into the FS9 folder or PMDG aircraft folders instead of into the appropriate PMDG folders for navigation data.Is this the first time you have installed a Navigraph update? It would not hurt to check your FS9 path in the registry with this free registry checker utility from Flight1:http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=libraryIf on VISTA or Win 7 right click on that exe and select run as admin to give it program level access to the registry, different from user access rights.
December 16, 201114 yr Author Hello,I did take it to The Navigraph forum and they told me that I should contact PMDG which I did and they are asked me for a detail log on how I am installing the update. I did that a moment ago.The last time I installed a cycle was 4 months ago and that went great. I have windows XP still and run as administrator. I did go and down load the free registry checker utility from Flight 1.Thank you for your help and as soon ad PMDG get back I will post it here too. Hopefully my Radar Contack will also work too.Claudio
December 16, 201114 yr Here's a quick check you can do:Under your FS9 folder there is a PMDG folder. Under that there is a SIDSTARS folder. That should contain a number of.txt files for each airport. They define the procedures in a text format. There are also a couple of files called wpNavaid.txt and another but I don't know where they are located that originate with Navigraph. It also would not hurt to update FSUIPC3 in your modules folder. These FS9 PMDG 737 aircraft use it. Maybe some other application installed a much older version. First run that fligjht1 checker to insure your registry path is current for FS9. FSUIPC now refers to that for installs.Get the current base version of FSUIPC3 from:http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmland then install the interim update from:http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules/today at 3.99n. Do this if you also reinstalled Radar Contact.since you are an RC user also update makerwys from:http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66136-useful-additional-programs/today at 4.51, install it, and run the scenery rebuild.
December 17, 201114 yr Author I started from scratch and did what you have told me to do and its works perfectly thank you. My sim and my RC works like a dream. This is a early christmas for me.Thank you for all your help and have a great day.Best regards,Claudio
