  • A 28 nm structure width
  • A compute power of 3.5 TFLOPS (IEEE754-SP)
  • A core clock speed of 925 Mhz
  • A primitive ratio of 2 prim / clk
  • GCN (Graphics Core Next) shader architecture
  • 32 CU / 2048 ALU stream processors
  • 128 texture units
  • 32 / 128 Rops / Z-Stencil
  • A 3GB GDDR5 VRAM
  • A memory width/speed of 384 bits/5.5 GBps
  • A load/idle power consumption of <300W/<3W

According to this leaked information, the low idle power consumption of less than 3 watts will beachieved by the so called AMD ZeroCore Power technology.Has anyone here an idea, how those alleged features of the new HD 7970 will make it perform with FSX(or the new MS Flight) especially when compared to the GTX 580 ?
