Featured Replies

Hi,Did anyone already by the new Tibet scenery from Flight1 ? Could I get some comments/screenshots about it ? Is it worth the money ?thx,Thomas

Yes, I would be interested as well. In particular, it would be helpful to know the actual area covered by providing the latitude and longitude co-ordinates. There are a number of nice screenshots at Flight1 but none showing, e.g. Mt. Everest. I'm not sure whether Everest is technically in Tibet or Nepal. Or, is Nepal part of Tibet?I suppose the other obvious question is how Flight1's mesh compares with Justin's at FSGenesis? Both appear to be the same resolution.Mike

Mike wrote:"not sure whether Everest is technically in Tibet or Nepal. Or, is Nepal part of Tibet?"Mt Everest is on the border between Nepal and China (Tibet). Tibet is part of China now. Was an independet state but is now occupied by China.Coordinates of Mt Everest: 27

Thanks Jozef. Now, all we need is for someone to supply the area co-ordinates covered by Flight1's Tibet 2004 :)Mike

Hi Mike and Thomas,This was what I've found on their support forum:the lod8/152m mesh covers n26-n36,e78-e100the lod9/76m covers mesh n26-n33,e79-e99.So when I look at the cooridnates of Mt Everest, it is covered by the 76m mesh I think.Jozef http://pluizig.ath.cx/signature.jpg
