Hi all, I'm considering purchasing the saitek pro flight yoke and was wondering if it's possible to assign the rudder control using the pov switch located on the yoke. I own trackir 5 and therefore do not need the pov switch for looking around and cannot really afford to spend the extra $95 to buy the pedal set. Thanks in advance for any response. Terry

hi,I don't know if it is possible but I don't think it would be convenient because you can't have a neutral position with the POV. Besides how would you brake? If you want to fly as much realistically as possible you don't have the choice save 95 $, you won't regret it

No, you can't, because the POV is a switch (a set of 8 switches, really), whereas what you need to control the rudder is an axis (with a potentiometer) that sends values in the range of 0 to 255 to FSX.Cheers,- jahman.
