Any help would be greatly appreciated! Terry
  2. Hi all! I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem. Awhile ago, I installed Steve's 3.2.2 shader files into FSX and it worked great. Later, I uninstalled this, going back to DX9. Today I tried to re-install the 3.2.2 files, running the BAT file and it says' the DX10 shaders are already deleted, now run FSX in DS10 preview mode'. When I do this, my FSX splash screen will come up for a couple seconds, and then disappear with nothing loading.I would like to buy Steve's fixer program but I'lm afraid it might not run because of this problem. Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Terry
  3. Hi all, I'm considering purchasing the saitek pro flight yoke and was wondering if it's possible to assign the rudder control using the pov switch located on the yoke. I own trackir 5 and therefore do not need the pov switch for looking around and cannot really afford to spend the extra $95 to buy the pedal set. Thanks in advance for any response. Terry
  4. Hi all,I just purchased this shader program, and it's pretty neat. I did a test on the telluride mission with a thunderstorm going on, and it looks really cool. You can see the shadows over the mountains, and the clouds have a deeper, more ominous look to them. Having only used the program GUI a little bit, it looks like you can set up an infinite number of color, shade variations. I didn't notice any frame rate loss, and I can see it's going to take a lot of tweaking to get it exactly where I want it, but I think for $11 it's worth the price. Terry
  5. Hi all! When flying at dusk or at night(clear skies)I have light bloom enabled(looks awesome!!)but i have a strange issue that occurs when I'm at an airport leaving the gate or taking off on the active. When I pan to the left or right and once I get to about a 45 degree angle, my screen goes white. Once I'm about 1000 feet in the air or higher, I know longer have the problem. Anyone else experience this? Thanks in advance for any help. I am also including my FSX config file and PC specs. 6. Hello Steve!! You solved it!!! By having IF ignore the AI while in flight everything loads perfectly no matter what settings i choose. I sincerely apologize for all the head scatching I caused you, and to anyone reading my earlier posts please ignore them!! Anyway thanks again Steve very much for all your help and it's nice to know there are developers out there like you who are so willing to work with their customers on solving any issues with their program. Thanks Steve!! Terry

What I meant in my previous post was, if you open up IF10, then select a flight plan i.e. select a plane, select the weather type, select a departure airport, select flight time, then click on the select destination icon (it will then show you a briefing of your flight) if the time of your flight in your briefing and the flight time you selected earlier do not match closely, it causes FSX to crash.Hope this helps Steve. Thank you again for all your time and patience.Terry
  8. Steve, it doesn't matter what aircraft you choose( I tried several different ones.)the crash happens when the flight parameters you choose and the destination briefing do not align themselves correctly. Thanks Steve. Terry
  9. Hey Steve,I figured out the problem. It definitely was not my Traffic 2010 causing the issues. I'll explain: Today I started a new flight and wouldn't you know it FSX would not fully load again like before... so I went back to the IF10 main menu and checked the briefing parameters of my flight. I had set up a one-hour flight using the Beechcraft King Air 350, then clicked on the new destination arrow and when it gave me the briefing and the new destination, I saw that it had picked an airport only 44 nm away and that it would take 32 minutes to get there!! Then I clicked on the new destination arrow again and this time it showed me an airport that would take one hour to get there, clicked the "fly" icon and the FSX loaded up perfectly! I set up a new flight with a different plane but still a one-hour flight, clicked the new destination arrow and saw that it gave me a flight that was only a few miles away and only a few minutes to get there, clicked the "fly" icon, and FSX crashed again! I went back into IF10 again, just clicked on the new destination arrow and in the briefing, I saw that it gave me a one-hour flight, clicked the "fly" icon, and FSX loaded up perfectly again. Steve, please try these scenarios and let me know if the same thing happens to you, just please check to see that the parameters you set and the new destination briefing do not match, causing FSX not to load fully.Thank you very much, Steve for looking into this, and thanks again for all your help.Terry
  10. Hey Steve,I can't explain it but it's working perfectly now!!!!! The only thing i can think of is that recently I had disabled the IF10 weather engine.I was giving the program another go and I noticed this so i re-enabled the weather engine, loaded another flight plan and it worked! I tried 6 more flight plans and they all loaded perfectly. I'm sure there must be a more logical answer and I'll let you know if i can think of anything else. Anyway thank you Steve for being so helpful and informative. P.S. I hope you get MY TRAFFIC 2010 to run properly!! Let me know if I can be of any service to you to get the program up and running. Terry
  11. Thanks Steve for the quick reply.I tried your suggestions but unfortunately I have the same problem, I would rather not have to temporarily disable MY TRAFFIC 2010 in order to use IF10 but will do so if it is the only possible solution. Please keep me informed for any possible fixes or workarounds. Thanks again Steve for all your help. Terry
  12. Hi again Steve, thanks for answering my earlier post (#65) it helped a lot but now I have a new problem.A couple of days ago I installed MY TRAFFIC 2010(works great!) but now when I load a flight plan through IF10 and click the fly icon it will open FSX and load the parameters to 100% but then the game crashes,(fsx has encountered a problem and has to close.) No matter what settings I choose in IF10 the same thing always happens. Any ideas what could be causing the crashes? Thanks in advance Steve for any help on this. Terry
  13. Hi Steve W, I can't seem to contact you via your email, so i thought I'd post my questions here. First of all I'd like to say your program is fantastic,I love it, but there are some things i can't figure out. 1) Is it possible to save a flight in mid air and then continue it at a later point (or will that be available with version 1.0?) 2) is it possible to have a longer flight with multiple stops (eg: landings along the route selected by the program) 3) how do i get the program to randomly select a departure and destination flight at the same time.(It seems to only select a random destination) Thanks in advance Steve for any help on this. Terry A.
  14. Hi all,I downloaded the all in one installer(my computer that runs fsx does not have internet)and now it prompts me for a location to extract the files to.Could anyone please advise me into which folder these files go? Thanks in advance for any response.Terry
