Hi All.I am having difficulties with exterior viewing of my PMDG 747-400. Just part of the "skin" is visible. Also some of my add-on airpots only show partial buildings. I didn't think I had changed any of my settings so this is a mystery to me.Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Hi David, I very rarely ask this, since I believe someone that has to ask for a screenshot just can't read or doesn't know, but the problem(s) you described are quite vague and leaves a lot to the imagination. A few things come to mind such as; did you apply the highmem fix? Is this the 744 or the LCF? I imagine the LCF since it's here, but want to be sure. Are you using Boyjote's shaders? Some systems have issues with them and can do similar to what you mentioned but so do a lot of things. If none of this makes sense that I'm writing then let meus know. With your specs it shouldn't be a hardware issue of any kind and sounds like one of these two to me.

You have helped me in the past and I really appreciate that.Not sure what any of those things are that you mentioned so sorry about that.I have another issue which is also "driving" me nuts. My steering is constantly pulling me to the left when taxing. I have done a re-install but it is still happening.Yes, this is a 747-400.

Hey David, glad I could help before, let's hope I can help this time If you haven't heard of those things I listed then go here. Follow the directions and upload your fsx.cfg. It will make a new one for you with a lot of great edits and tweaks. One of which is the highmem fix and why you're most likely having your issue with the disappearing textures (99.9% chance).As for the steering issue. There are several possibilities there, but before I guess on that one, check your engines right before or as this happens. There's a chance that your throttles have line noise and one isn't spoiling up to match where you have the axis (if you have throttles that is).Hope this helps.
