Jagged shadows

Featured Replies

I'm having a problem with jagged shadows. See the screenshots:(Look particularly around the right yoke)I'm running on Linux with an nVidia card and the 280.13 drivers.Causes? Solutions? Should I file a bug report?Edit: Here are my rendering options since somebody is probably going to ask:I get jagged shadows with and without HDR.

I believe its the shadow detail itself. The detail being low causes a low-detail edge. Try enhancing it to high (just to see if it goes away).

O.K., that was it. For whatever reason I thought shadow detail referred to how far away from the aircraft shadows were rendered. Turning it up to "Melt your GPU" gave me nice, smooth shadows (and, as advertised, lower frame rates).Thanks.

np...glad to help
