December 28, 201114 yr Commercial Member Yeah - I know - a really odd request!! I have no idea what's happened here but I've lost my HKLM keys for both FS9 and FSX. Actually, I've lost ALL the Microsoft Games keys but currently only the FS ones are of any concern to me. If someone who knows what they are doing can export the following keys and let me have them I'd be very grateful. I know your paths won't match mine but I can easily edit the keys after import. Or even a screenshot of the two key structures would do nicely.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator9.0HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator10.0-Dai
December 28, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member Many thanks Doug! :( The mystery here has deepened somewhat: RegEdit and Registry Workshop say the keys don't exist but Registry Commander shows the keys as not accessible. Huh.-Dai[Edit] Okay - got it (I think). Change of O/S from XP to Win64=change of keys from HKLM to HKCU. Slightly different info too. And yes, they were installed 'for all users'.
December 28, 201114 yr It would seem there are two sets of entries...Here is the other. December 29, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member I was a bit reluctant to use the WoW entries because I'm pretty sure they don't exist on 32-bit systems.-Dai
