Aerofly FS

Featured Replies

Don't know where else to ask this (please move this to a more appropriate forum if needed) but I wonder if someone over here already had a look at Aerofly FS? I do see some movies online and it looks okay, but I'd like to know more. I am almost on the edge of ordering it, just to see what it is...! Some more input would be welcome though. ;)http://www.aeroflyfs.com/index.php/en/

EDITFound a German review.http://www.simflight...yfs-von-ikarus/No AI, no flightplanning, no systems to take care of, no seasons, no night, everything in the VC is just eye candy, small country, etc. etc. So it's some sort of toy sim. You get into a nice looking plane and wiggle your joystick, wow, the plane turns, and that's it. No depth at all. Certainly no 'sim'. Ground textures aren't very high res too, so it seems. Physics seem to be okay, but for someone who is used to some good FSX addons this is nothing but a toy, I think.I'll wait for MS Flight... :(

Have a look at Lockheed Martin Prepar3D....at least you can use your current addons. Well, most of them at least. And it is a big improvement over its ancestor.

Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

I had a look at P3D already, about a month or so ago. It couldn't compete at all with my manually tweaked FSX, I have to say... I will have another look when P3D 2.0 has been released: I think that will offer more benefits.

It may be a toy but it is a pretty awesome looking toy.http://youtu.be/KAZwLM_mVzo
