December 30, 201114 yr After a series of ntdll.dll crashes, I set my Corsair vengeance 8gb 1600mhz, down to 1333 mhz, had another ntdll.dll crash, and has now put it down to 1066Mhz.In 1600 mhz I ran memtest, which detected 1 error. After downgrading to 1333mhz memtest could not find the error again, but still its no good that an error occured in the first place.Question now is, should i buy new RAM or not? And, after reading about boot failures due to new RAM installed, I feel like not doing it.. oh the agony! Yngve GiljebrekkeENZV NSB
December 30, 201114 yr Have you checked to see that the RAM volts are correct, usually to run ram at higher then stock you need to raise the ram volts a little. Not sure what it is called in bios, but check the RAM specs.

December 30, 201114 yr The RAM volts are correct according to specs. Have no idea what to do next..You have to test one stick at a time, even in different slots to see if the problem (assuming there's a RAM issue) is in the stick or the board
