FsAutoStart build 5 and Squawkbox

Featured Replies

Hi Ken:I have a problem with FSautostart and SB. I configured the services and programs in a way that Internet, DXPlay, etc are functional. However at times I am unable to make SB work once ready to fly online. Sometimes it works but others don't. Any advice? Your program is great .:-roll

First, I am going to assume you were not being sarcastic with the rolling eyes.Second, I don't use Squakbox. I assume that you can:1) Use SB without FSAutoStart and it works 100% of the time?2) Tried SB and FSAutoStart, but do not shutdown any services or programs? Maybe there is a program or service that SB needs.

By no means I was sarcastic, I am sorry. FSautoStart works well with FS2k2 and SB but it is with FS2k4 that SB doesn't want work. I'll keep experimenting unless someone in the forums have any other ideas. Thank you for your prompt reply. Carlos :-shy

For SB to work properly with FS2k4 you must have SBRelay - have you got this?Dave

Yes I have SBRelay 1.2 installed. Everything is find except when I use FSAutostart. Tried to follow the recommendations in the new build 5 and in the Black viper website. There should a service in XP Pro that SBRelay and SB needs ?? Carlos

I would enable all services and programs in FSAutoStart then try SB. If it works, you will have to narrow down what program is required. Sorry I cannot be of any additional help.
