For optimal FSX performance any CPU either i7, Core 2 or Quad have to be OC'd to at least 3.8 GHZ with good overclockable memory sticks @ 4 Gb's.

You won't get any significant performance increase in FSX unless you overclock your CPU and memory to at least 3.8 GHZ. FSX is very dependent on CPU power overall. :(

Hey Jim, just a question for you. What temperatures, Vcore, Vdimm are you running that E8500 ?Temperature idle and under load? Which program did you run for stability, OCCT or Prime95?Thanks :(

You probably can get 100 FPS with the MD-11 with most sliders to the right when airborne and at high altitute (crusing). But no way you can get those FPS with the MD-11 at a detailed airport when taxing or even parked. :(

My question is : Can we use ASE + GEPro in a networked system ? Such as using ASE + GEPro in a computer and FS9 in another ? I think that to be able to use GEPro in a non FS9 computer I will have to have the GEPro folder setup to be shared in the network. Thanks Carlos.

I can't find in the FCOM how to hear the PA Alerts and Crew alerts using the audio panel in the MD -11. Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks.

I have read in the FCOM and observed that in overhead section there is a Crew alerts system. However when I follow the instructions in the manual I don't hear any announcements or communications at all. Any specific steps to make this work or the announcements are not heard in the flight deck ?? Thanks Carlos :-hmmm

Seems that the Buffer PoolSize tweak mentioned by Brian at Aces helped some at 10000000 not 5000000. Still microstutters persist but less though. Probably will have to keep trying some more tweaks and settings. I am upgrading my sound card from a Audigy 2 ZS to a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Professional and see if at least helps with the stutters or not. Carlos

Thank you for your input. I am going to lower all the sliders to minimum setting and then move them one at the time and see which one is the culprint in my system in regard to the stutters. Nevertheless, the FPS remain stable between 20-25(locked at 25) even with the mild stuttering mentioned. Carlos....
