My computer died for the 3rd time. in 3 years. 2 EVGA 780i MBs and now a Asus P5N-T Deluxe nForce 780i 775 socket.I checked the ps by jumping the green and black wire and got power. Plugged it back into the MB and nothing. When I turn on the computer nothing happens. I have a lot of money invested in other parts but can't find a good MB. I have 4dinns of Corsair ram(8gb) A EVGS 480 1gb video card, 850watt ps and a Soundblaster card. No sounds at all Nothing works or runs. I jumped the ps and it works. Don't know what to do next but bring it to the repair shop.

Have you considered a bad power button on the case? Have you tried jumping the PSU via the motherboard? Nothing at all happening doesn't seem like a motherboard issue. Though it could be.

Ha! found the power botton lead loose on the MB. It boots up now but only stays on for about 5min. Tried 3 times and it just shuts down. Off to the shop with it. He told me maybe the power supply or CPU. Should find out Wednesday what is wrong with it.
