January 4, 201214 yr 1. A chance for Google to compete DIRECTLY with MS ?2. Perhaps Google can incorporate/combine Flightgear and Google Earth ?3. A possible breathing room for X-plane and perhaps a chance to offer a more traditional alternate to the MS marketing model ?What the heck is going on with Google anyway - has it lost it's edge generally ?
January 4, 201214 yr Google Earth is definitely non-competitive with anyone in the flight simming world. Just rendering Google Earth is sometimes a pain for many (not for me as I have a super fast connection). Maybe 50 years from now Google can compete.Jim
