January 5, 201214 yr Hi, recently I have been getting CTD's because of an error in the ft733.dll file. I can fly the wilco 737 (the file is located in the feelThere folder in the FSX main folder, so it has to do with the wilco 737) for a few minutes, and then FSX crashes. Here is the event log:application name with error: fsx.exe, 10.0.61472.0 version, time stamp 0x475e17d3name of module error: ft733.dll, version 1.6.0.5, time stamp: 0x47581839exception code: 0xc000000dError offset: 0x000f04acID of process error: 0x1784application start time with error: 0x01cccba461b6ddd4path to application with error: C: Program Files Microsoft Games Microsoft Flight Simulator X fsx.exepath to module with error: C: Program Files Microsoft Games Microsoft Flight Simulator X feelthere 737 ft733.dllReport ID: 3798-11e1-0fe1ca1f-8825-50e54952cb8a I have searched the internet for a solution, but I couldn't find anything. January 5, 201214 yr Hi, recently I have been getting CTD's because of an error in the ft733.dll file.based on the word 'recently' this means you had no problems before. what has changed on your system? new software, FS addons, sysystem update, other?-- D. January 5, 201214 yr How are you starting up FSX? Do you go to the Startup screen, load the FT737, then fly? If so, try starting up with a default aircraft first. Once it has loaded, then go to the menu and select the FT737.You're right about nothing on the Internet about this. I went into the FT Forum as I'm a registered user and they have an 'unofficial' forum for the FT737 but that's it. And the forum consists of just one page so they might have removed all the problems with the aircraft in the past. They do have a new 737PIC for FSX only. I hope you are using that as the previous FS9 version had several problems in FSX and I uninstalled it. There appears to be no support for this aircraft by FT. If the above suggestion does not fix your problem, I would uninstall it, take the hit in the pocket for the cost, and get either the iFly or PMDG versions. They proudly have support for their products. In your CTD, the real problem you should be checking for on the Internet is not the ft733.dll. That was the dll that just happened to cause the exception error. The exception code: 0xc000000d is what you really need to be checking on as that could be a system problem and not related to the ft733.dll. When I checked the exception code on Google, dotnet and Microsoft Visuals C++ Redistributables came up a couple of times. You should make sure you have Microsoft .net version 4 installed and updated to the latest through the Windows update program. In addition, MSV's from 2005 to 2010 must be installed. They are not backward compatible so you will need them all. The .net program is backward compatible. Hope this helps.Best regards,Jim

January 5, 201214 yr I apologize for flaming and not being polite. I'm here on AVSIM to help people fix their problems and I have been successful a couple of times. The reason I mentioned one page of 737PIC comments in the unofficial forum is because I normally look for 'Pages' at the bottom. I didn't realize you compressed your forums. I haven't visited your forums for a long time now, maybe over a year, so I was not familiar with your forum format. So that's why I thought you might have removed old pages. I make comments based on what I immediately see and that's where I errored in your case. Thanks for keeping me straight.Best regards,Jim
January 6, 201214 yr Author Hi, I started fsx up today and tried the 737; this time the error didn't show up. I did a few flights without any problems. No idea how, but it seems to have fixed itself :)Thank you for the replies, hope this error doesn't show up anymore.
