February 18, 200422 yr Sirs,When ever I zoom in, virtual cockpit or exterior I get a weird effect, see picture below.I have an ASUS FX5800 card, with 53.03 drivers installed.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/63499.jpgHow can I stop the bleed through? Thanks
February 18, 200422 yr Is your Vsync on or off? Mine will do that once in a while on a real tight zoom; but has only done that since I turned my Vsync off.
February 18, 200422 yr vsynch is a video card option "vertical synchronization."That's an easy modification, should be in your display properties, advanced tab...or there abouts. I don't think that's you problem though - I'd look elsewhere. Does it happen at all airports or just some? I might suggest installing some replacement airport textures, such as Chris Arrington's "airport environment upgrade" which comes in two flavours, FAST: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...scen&DLID=40590 or PRETTY: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...scen&DLID=36761I have a vague recollection of a file which specifically addressed this problem, but I can't find it in the library. It may be the one I've linked to. Someone else will jump in I'm sure.Best,sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
February 19, 200422 yr Sliding the mesh setting a point or two further to the right can also fix this - the two altitude references for the tarmac and the underlying generic scenery are very close and the marginal difference in settings is less than the margin for error of the mesh. As you zoom in the bleed-through becomes apparent in the same way that starting with a low res image and zooming in reveals pixellation much more than starting with a high res image and zooming in.Allcott
