Autobrake activated after using manual brakes?

Featured Replies

Hi everybody..Im using FSX with SP2NGX B737-6/7/8/900 series with SP1bSaitek Proflight Rudder pedalsSaitek Proflight Yoke System..Both with latest drivers and calibrated in the FSX...I dont use the Saitek software for programming for the peddals...Ok...Usual procedure...After pushback... Parkingbrake is set.. preperation for takeoff in progress... I set flaps, trim and brakes RTO.... OK...I was released for taxi...Everything was normal until i pushed the brakepeddals a little bit to stop the aircraft at the holdingpoint...Then i wanted to line up the runway... but i needed unusual much thrust to move the aircraft...I realised that the autobrakes were activated.... Not much, but only a little bit...In my opinion, the brakes are active with aprox. 25%, because the aircraft is able to taxi forward with 30-40% thrust...Ok.... so i stoped again and released the autobrakes with the switch to "OFF".... then i put the switch again to "RTO" after that i was able to taxi normally...To check it, i pushed again the brakepedals and i befell the same symptom as before...Again, i released the autobrakes to "OFF" and in this positon i was departing...At final destiantion, i set autobrakes to "2" ... Touchdown and Autobrakes were activated...Then i released the brakes with "OFF"... then i was taxing to the apron.... I had to use the brakes again...An there was the same symptom... Brakes are still set a little bit, although the autobrakes switch was in "OFF" position...I took another 737... i was loading another panelstate... i reset the panelstate and i reinstalled the hole PMDG-packageand deleted the hole directorys in FSX main folder and Airplanesfolder and i still have this problem.....If i take another plane like QW B757, i dont have this problem...What happend there? Please help me out.....Best regardsBenjamin Exenberger

Benjamin,First thing to check is in FSX / Settings / Controls / Calibration/ Saitek Proflight Rudder Pedals /...make sure that the sensitivity settings for the brakes are ALL the way to the right (max) Then go to Control Axes, and make sure that the "Reverse" boxes are checked.Try that and see if that solves your problem.Dennis

Hey Dennis, thanks for your answer....I set the sensitivity maximum to the right... the "Reversboxes" were checked..But i have still the problem....I noticed now, if i push the "pointbutton" on the keyboard for breaking, i dont have this problem... Its strange....Best regardsBenni

Benni.OK,have you tried deleting the braking function on the keyboard? That was the first thing I did when I got the pedals years ago. Don't want any conflicts with any controls! Just make sure there is nothing else that can apply the brakes.(FSUIPC etc)I will keep thinking of anything else that could cause this, but that's all I have for now.Good luck.Dennis

Hi Dennis, thx again for your answer...After a long time, i found a solution....Its was not only the sensivity, you have to delete the complete deadzone of your pedals...After that it was working every time working!!! :)Thx again..Best regardsBenni
