FSX looses "focus" in fullscreen mode

Featured Replies

Today on my current flight I experienced something I never seen before, I'm running FSX in fullscreen mode and on 3 ocations now all of a sudden I'm sent back to the desktop with FSX minimized to the taskbar all by itself. Not a big problem when during the cruise and not much happen, I simply switch back to FSX which keeps running just fine...in other words no crash of any kind...it just "looses" focus.I guess it must be some other program that I have running that for some reason makes this happen but can't think of what program that might be since I'm only running the Data Provider module of EFB and the Track-IR software part from FSX and both these programs are minimized themself and I've been running like this without changing anything what so ever to my setup and never seen this before. Like I said, not a big deal when it happens during cruise and on autopilot but I sure hope it will not happen during short final...Anyone else seen this or has any idea how to "troubleshoot" what it is making FSX loose focus and end up in the taskbar from fullscreen mode?

A desktop app like a weather app can do this, when it updates.Peter Sydney Australia

Don't have any apps like that running and like I said never seen this before and haven't changed anything to my setup or installed any new apps. Guess I'll just have to wait and see if it was a one-time-only thing. Thanks anyway!
