January 8, 201214 yr Hi,Today I was looking to some Ryanair B737 videos and in one of them I saw strange lights on the fuse (In the back, in the R of Ryanair and behind the front door). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtRLgJtglLIWe can see those lights at the begining of the video (about 3 or 4 seconds)Regards, Bruno. January 8, 201214 yr Pretty sure those are the emergency lights...light up the wing walkway and around the airplane when the Emerg lights are set to Arm/On.Basically the Emergency lights (exterior...exit signs...aisle lights etc) as self contained lights that turn on when power is lost. When the Electrical bus' source is changed from the APU to the Gen's, the fluctuation in power will trick the Emerg lights to turn on when the switch is set in Arm...as you see...as power is restored/fully transferred the lights extinguish. You may have noticed the cabin flicker as a passenger in the type. It's less pronounced in the NG's then in the older Classics or any other type, but it's still there. Patrick Houghton
