Help with George Grimshaw's KBOS Scenery, Please

Featured Replies

Dear Brethren (and Sistren, if that is the right word). Please could anyone help me fix the problem shown in the attached file?It happened when I was approaching KBOS after I installed George Grimshaw's wonderful scenery in FS 2002. I have also installed all the patches I could find here in the file library.Any help would be appreciated.

Is this wonderful scenery for FS2004 or specifically for FS2002? If the former, chances are it contains some object that is native to FS2004 but not included in the FS2002 default library. Or check the ReadMe to see if it requires something that you don't currently have installed. This happens to me occasionally if I install some FS2004 scenery into FS2002.Good luck.-Lindy :-rotor:-wave

Thanks for the reply. This was indeed designed for FS2004 but there are a few "fixes" with specific instructions to make it work in FS2002. The instructions in the read me files were clear.Perhaps I was wrong?

Hey Ejiro,That error might be a missing BGL file.Try deleting the Boston Logan Folder & download version 1.1 again.Remember you have to manually add the scenery to the library & then restart FS.I think you might have installed a patch designed for other than the one you have installed. I've not seen this error before myself. Email me at [email protected] if you have further problems.Links to version1.1 can be found here : www.bluesiliconsky.comcheers,george

Thanks A lot George. So good of you to come to my aid.I will do as you say and start from scratch. And yes, I did restart FS after adding the area in the scenery lib. Thanks again, and I will contact you to let you know how it goes.
