FSX problems after uninstalling P3D

Featured Replies

Despite the good results I have some minor problems in P3D and discovered a new one. After downloading P3D, I gladly made a ghost image first before installing it on my dedicated FS disk with her own OS.Everything looked good so I decided to put my second license on my test system where I also have a FSX test environment. I uninstalled the First license but after that I received a lot of MSVCR80.dll errors in FSX and application crashes. I checked the scenery and tried to reproduce it on my test system and at exact the same position I’ll get the MSVCR80.dll error in FSX and at the exact position in P3D a MSVCR100.DLL error. After a ghost image restore of my dedicated FS disk, the crashes are gone so it have something to do with installing/uninstalling P3D on that disk.On my test system I can’t get rid of the dll crashes and still struggling with Track-IR/EZDOK and Squawk box to get it running. So be careful with installing/uninstalling P3D on the same disk/OS where also FSX runs and be sure to make a backup first.Happy landings.

EDIT: Don't know why but after installing a new Carenado plane in FSX on my testsystem the dll errors in both FSX ad P3D are suddenly solved/gone...
