January 21, 201214 yr I noticed today mainly as I fell foul of it during a bad weather landing at Dalaman (Turkey) (LTBS) That the NGX FMC seems to think this airport is a dual runway airport and therefore gives landing approaches for Runway 1R and 1L. I know for a fact from flying in and out of there alot as a passenger this is a single runway airport. (unless a very recent modification has happened) Having said that putting into the FMC to land on ILS Runway 1R sets it all up correctly however as I emerged from the clouds I could see I was lined up to one side, i.e my nose wheel would have touched down basically on the right hand edge of the runway. I tried this again with no weather settings with the same result and again selecting RW 1L all with the same outcome. as far as I am aware all settings within the aircraft are correct, Nav frequencies course headings etc.Is this an error in the program somewhere? Certainly as far as FSX is concerned its a single runway airport. Many thanksAndy. January 21, 201214 yr Navdata comes from Navigraph. Head over there and make note on your finding in their support forum. They'll probably fix it for the next release. Patrick Houghton
January 21, 201214 yr Hi Andy,The database is correct. According to my charts there is two runways. It might that they use the other one as a taxyway like in Gatwick. And please don't write to me regarding the currency of this chart. They are from a real world Enroute Manual.Kind Regards, Martin DahlerupMy rig contains a random selection of computer parts working in perfect harmony.... I hold a EASA fATPL + A320 SIC rating and a FAA CPL with CFI rating.
