Automated Jetways

Featured Replies

I ported the FS9 Arjan Scheffel 737-800 into FSX, fitted it with a new panel and it works very well. I have made it my default AC in FSX. The automated jetways work when hitting Ctrl-J on the keyboard. I also ported a PA320 but when at a gate in any FSX airport, Ctrl-J does not activate any of the jetways. Is there a trigger for this function and if so, is it built into the model file?Thx

You have to have your aircraft properly parked at the gate is the only 'trigger' I know of....Best regards,Jim

Check in your "aircraft" cfg file for these lines,If you did not have these,add them,then the jetways should work...[exits]number_of_exits=4exit.0 = 0.4, 47.50, -6.0, 7.0, 0 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)exit.1 = 0.4, -33.50, 5.85, 0.0, 1 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)exit.2 = 0.4, 29.90, 6.0, 1.0, 2 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)exit.3=0.2, -29.90, 6.0, 1.0, 2
