On a landing into montreal at night with the 738, I noticed my landing lights were "default", not the enhanced ones that the NGX usually has. The visibility was about 3 miles. I did some tests. Since im using AS2012 I tried restoring textures to default FSX but it did nothing. I then found out that I could get the NGX enhanced lights by raising the visibility from 3 miles to over 10 miles. Above 10 miles the lights are enhanced, below 10 miles the lights are default. Weird! Can anyone test this please? Try FSX at night with the NGX first below 10SM vis with landing lights, then above 10SM vis. Anyone have ideas on this id like to have the nicer lights on every landing!Alex Bart

The Fog and Low Visibility conditions are causing it and there is no fix.
