Water Reflections

Featured Replies

Hey there,With FS2002 I was able to see reflections off the water surface during dawn/dusk. Now with FS2004 these reflections seemed to have disappeared. I can see the animated water. I can see reflections off the aircraft when I have the option turned on. Is there a particular setting that needs to be set in the menus or in the fs9.cfg file? I am running FS2004 on a Toshiba Satellite laptop. P4-2.2Ghz 512MB RAM, 32MB GeForce4 440 Go video card. Thanks,Mike

It's funny. When I force the water effects to level 2 through the fs9.cfg file I do see reflections off the water. Unfortunately the rest of the world looks weird. Gaphics bleed through and such. I guess FS2002 was programed differently for reflections. Ah well, not for me I guess.Mike

Yeah, it sucks that they removed the sun reflections from the animated water ... it was really kinda cool. Not so static, as a reflection map.Oh well. Maybe in FS10 we'll get dynamic, bm reflections ...-Daniel
