I had the feeling that the performances of 1 of the HDs was less goog.I have already run the "Check disk" tool and the HD is free of errors.I have formatted the HD (long format),I used HD TUNE tool and the results are in the attached.What is the problem? January 29, 201214 yr There are 6 obvious dips in the transfer rate and the access time test is all over the place.How full are the drives?Can you post a screenshot with the "Health" tab of HD Tune?First thing would be to back it up just in caseYou could then download and run Data LifeGuard Diagnostic tool to run the extended test, and to write zeros. That will "reset" the drive. Run the HD Tune benchmark then, with the drive empty.If the transfer rate still drops ocasionally, I would consider replacing the driveIf it's ok, restore your data and Run the test again
