January 29, 201214 yr I am in Greymouth on the New Zealand's South Island west coast visiting my mother (usually live in Boulder CO). I noticed today at around1700 NZDT on Sunday January 29 a jet with contrail heading north-south in a northerly direction over my location in Greymouth. I'm trying to figure out where this flight originated and the destination. Coming from the south brings it on over the Tasman sea, although not from Australia's direction obviously. Any ideas would be most welcome. Hi to any fellow Kiwis here, it's always great to be home (especially in the northern winter :). ).Thanks, Bruce ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.

February 1, 201214 yr Author Hi Julian,Thanks, that's the flight! It's great to be back in the home country. I think I did bring that rain unless everyone here is bragging about the fine weather before I arrived. Of course, down here on " the Coast" it's probably wetter than where you are :)Good to hear from you, Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
