LUA scripting for chocks and GPU

I have been playing around trying to use one of my GoFlight modules to set/remove the chocks and connect/disconnect the GPU. The good news is I have been able to do it, the bad is that they appear then immediatly disappear.I found that NGXWheelChocks is the Lvar and when equal to 1 chocks are set. The problem is the system still reads what is set in the CDU in the FS section - so if the CDU displays removed and I try ipc.writeLvar("L:NGXWheelChocks",1) they chocks appeary momentary but the CDU never updates. I have also tried ipc.set but no luck there either. Sme holds true for the GPU. Any ideas?ThanksKevin
