Simconnect not found

Featured Replies

Hello Guys !...never had a problems. I use Simconnect with "FSWidges" which is a flying bug an d moving map. Last night I loaded the FSWidges & got a message " Can't find Simconnect" ... I loaded the application from another Client and got the same message, I assume that there is some issue on the FSX Server side of simconnect, I checked the XML file and it looks normal. Any idea ????????Appreciate any help !Yair

If you are using 2 computers then you install SimConnect on the client computer using the 3 FSX SDKs and then there are 3 files that get set up, one on the client and 2 on the server. I am sure that the installation directions will walk you through this process.

Hello JSk !....Simconnect was working fine on FSX Rig and the client as well .... so something happened, now the question is what ????? Yair

Only you can determine that.

Try checking your IP address in the simconnect ini. and cfg to the servers IP address.

No, it uses the network address not the IP address.

..I.P addresses are okaySDK SP2 Installed ...... & still "No SimConnect Found"...do I need SDK on the Client side as well ????Any Guru around, that can help (-:Yair

All the SDKs get installed on the client and each simconnect.msi then gets run on the client. The server doesn't need this because FSX automatically installs simconnect.

EFBFsx from FSWidges use SimConnect for their Moving Map and other than dropping SimConnect.xml to the FSWidges on the Client I did nothing to make it work, and it was working fine ..... ...... pulling my hair, it's really a mystery ...
