I was just curious if running fsx under vista service pack 2 improves anything. Earlier my fsx crashes when closing down and so I wasn't sure if changing the compatibility. I run FSX under Vista SP2.In general you should always install the latest SPs for all your software, including DirectX, MSVC and .NET Runtimes and SPS.Go to Windows Update and when you're done (it might take several cycles until you get no more updates), defrag your HDD.Cheers,- jahman.

Thanks Jahman, also, do you recommend turning of firewall and disabling anti virus while flying or not?
