Senery Library refuses to accept new entries

Featured Replies

Hi,I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium and I have re-installed FSX plus Acceleration Pack. Everything works fine and smoothly with one exception: When I try to add another scenery via Settings/Scenery Library, I press "Add Area", I click on the desired area file, but when I click OK - instead of adding the area to the library, the file window shows the sub-directory ("scenery") of the selected area as if no valid area had been found.I hope there is a simple answer to my problem and I should be very grateful for your help.Fritz

A quirke with W7 64. Easily overcome though. Click "Add" select first folder Example C:FSXNew York Press ok in the dialouge box don't touch the scenery folder. just click ok after double clicking the scenery parent folder. After clicking ok, right click somwhere in that empty space in the dialouge box, and your done.

Darn, wish I had done that, save me typing :)
