upper / lower rudder

Recommended Posts

does the 747 for FSX know about the upper and lower rudder, and allow us to fail half of the rudder, like what happened with northwest airlines flight 85?during this flight, apparently the control module caused the lower half of the rudder to go 'full over' while the crew were still able to control the upper half.?

I don't think that the 747's rudder is programmed to include the upper and lower rudder. It's just one from what I noticed. Though I haven't flown the 747 in a long while.I'd rather have a rudder that has had half of it malfunction than completely lose it like that Air Transat A300 (A310?)...
