Can not re-install B747 for FSX

Hello,I had to re-install the 747-440X for FSX, without FS9.I still have all the initial setups and all the updates.I can not install the ""PMDG747_400_V1R12_FSXFS9_Unifier" update for I get a message that FS9 is not availableI also can not install the ""PMDG747_400_FSX_2.10_Update_Setup" for the same reason, no B747-400x version.It was said in the .txt file of the V1R12 update that we have to completely remove all the B747-400X from the system, that is why I have not installed it in the first place.Must I install the original version first and than the 2.10 version. What about the changes made in the V1R12 version?Are they included in the 2.10 version?????By the way, I am installing now to Win 7. Is your original download installer the FSX-FS9 package? I have both but in separate installers, so I'm not much help.Usually, you install the downloaded installer and run the latest update. No need to run every update, just latest. Also, the update at the web site are the latest.Win7 is no problem, just like Vista be sure to run as admin and consider turning the nanny security hall-monitor off unless you need it (UAC).

Hello Dan,I took my chances and I installed the very first B747-400X version and after that the 2.10 update.My test flight looked good, so I think it will be OK now.Thanks for the response. Carlos Oosterling
