March 6, 200422 yr Hello,I am now using a Project Magenta setup on a three node network. One shortcoming of the system was the number of mice/keyboards when flying the sim. As you may know, the PM system puts different controls (CDU/MCP/Glass Cockpit) on different screens than the FS2004 sim. It does not run well on multiple screens on one computer (too much processing)I found a post on the Project Magenta Forum that noted a product called Desktop Rover. I bought three nodes of the DT Rover from www.neslosoftware.com.It is really a great product for me. After setup - just push the mouse on the main sim screen in the direction of the display that you want to control and the mouse moves to that display and keyboard entry goes there too! Just like the multiple display mode in Windows. It is not a sim addon - it works on the multiple computers when ever they are on and running the program. You can also lock the mouse to the main computer when necessary.NOTE: if you get this product - there is a tiny reference in the help file to Computer Names via the HOSTS file in your Windows/System32/Drivers/ETC folder. You need to edit this file with the Names and IP addresses of each node so that the program can find each computer.Ron [email protected]
