March 8, 200422 yr I'm using the SGA DC-10 panel on the new DC-10, When I'm locked on the localizer I don't see a glide slope indicator. Is there one? Thanks, Bob McDuff
March 8, 200422 yr Are you shooting a Localizer approach or ILS? And do you have the lastest panel update.

March 8, 200422 yr Yes I have the latest panel upgrade. What I do is put the ILS freq. in my radio Then put my nav/gps to nav, and switch to nav hold. I have no problem getting established on the localizer, but there is no glide slope indicator (like a little arrow) to follow the glide slope. I swear it used to have one. I saved my flight just before getting established and tried a number of things, just can't get it grrrrr! Thanks for any help, Bob
March 9, 200422 yr The glide slope indicator is there, I used it last night. Shouldn't you be using "APPR" (approach) instead of "Nav Hold?" Don't know if the G/S indicator shows when you're in Nav Hold.
March 9, 200422 yr I got it to work today, but it was at a different airport. I don't know why it didn't work at KSTL. Oh well I'll try some different airportss
