March 10, 200422 yr I wonder, if someone knows a working module or gauge that can be used for thrust levers. I would to avoid presing the + and - button to switch the detents. If it'd work the PSS aircrafts I would be delighted! Thanks a lot!!Sam
March 10, 200422 yr Now I'm confused. I thought that you managed to put my gauge working. Or do you refer as module a dll?Jos
March 10, 200422 yr Let's assume that you want to use the gauge not the program. After installing it in the pss-AB-propanel.cfg window8 (for A320) you must use the configuration program (do not click in the Uses FSUIPC option since this will disconnect the Dx functions). The reason is that the gauge doesn't use FSUIPC but instead reads the joystick using directX so it must use your control panel calibration. After using the configuration you must have a thr.cfg in the FS directory with something like[Configuration]JoyName=Top Gun Afterburner ControlName=SliderMaxReverse=3097MinLin=12901MaxLin=50176MinCL=50176MaxCL=60416MinFleX=60416MaxFlex=65024MinToga=65024MaxToga=65535The first thing to see is if the configuration program (without FSUIPC option) detects the correct axis.Hope this helpsJos
March 10, 200422 yr As I know this is freeware a really appreciate your most kind support!I once more try as suggested and will report to you tonite.A bunch of thanks, Jos
March 11, 200422 yr I did the whole installation from the scratch, without using FSUIPC nor thr.exe. All files are stored in the correct directory. It doesn't work at all. Is it possible that the gauge wouldn't work if the detents are still assigned to buttons or keys (+ and -)? Do I have to remove all assignments? Weird....Thanks a lot!!Sam
March 11, 200422 yr The Gauge only works if the assignement is still +/- if you cahnge the default keys it stops. works.I need to see the thr.cfg.Jos
March 11, 200422 yr Can the + and - also be assigned by the PSS configurator or FSUIPC as I don't know the default assignements name in FS9. Thanks a lot!!Sam
March 11, 200422 yr If you never changed the keys that advance/ retract the throttle you should be ok. Without seeing the thr.cfg I can't tell what is wrong. One more thing, the program thr.exe that can be used instead of the gauge needs a FSUIPC registered version it doesn't provide the freeware key.Jos
March 11, 200422 yr I see. Right, I do have a registered FSUIPC, but I think my original throttle assignments in FS for "+" and "-" were removed because they are handled by the PSS panel configurator. Hmmm.... maybe I should have them assigned in FS again, but I don't know the actual name where + and - should be assigned to. Tried a few but apparerently it wasn't right. Will continue testing. Thanks so much!Sam
