No visible rain at ground level AS2012

Featured Replies

Using AS 2012 Build: 4387Hi, could AS2012 installation be the reason for that issue?Found rain drops are not visable out of cockpit view and outside view (adjusted completely down to surface level) when aircraft is on ground. About 1-2 meters above ground level, rain is visible in both situations. External view readjusted 1-2 meters above ground or after takeoff in cockpit view, rain becomes visible.I am not talking about visible raindrops at cockpit window or surface water effects at the runway. How to solve that issue which is mostly found at 3rd party payware addons?Regards,Nico

Yes, i can confirm! There must be a bug or something.I can reproduce this! You sit on EHAM and set rain with ActiveSky 2012.Then go outside and pan your camera to the bottom and the rain will disappear.pan a little bit up and the rain is present again - visible and audible!Same with LLMZ (airport at dead sea, 1000 ft below NN)But here you have to slew your aircraft about 1000ft up to make the rain visible. That leads me to the conclusion that AS2012 stops raining below zero feet height of ground :( ???At Eham, you can also slew your aircraft a few feet up and rain will appear again ...EDIT: ah and no, with default FSX rain this does not happen!!!!
