February 28, 201214 yr Hey guys.Okay, so I've learned through several FSX CTD's (Like ntdll.dll, atc.dll) that my system is not as stable as it needs to be. This system was built by myself and was the first time I attempted to build a PC, so it's no wonder I'm coming across some possible issues that I can't pinpoint. It's possible my RAM Voltages are not where they should be, and that my drivers for my MOBO (I never installed any drivers that didn't come with the Mobo/SATA/RAID/Etc) are outdated and giving me issues. This is where I've decided I'm out of my league and am asking for that patented avsim help.I need to know what drivers to instal for my PC to get my Mobo running right, how to set the BIOS for my RAM and Voltage, and how to know if it's stable or if I'm still going to encounter memory & driver-related CTD's with FSX. Here are my PC Specs:________________________________________________________________________________OS: Windows 7 64 bit Home PremiumMemory: Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 SDRAM 1600 (PC3 12800)Mobo: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R (Ver. 1) LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6GB/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel MotherboardCPU: Intel Core i7-950 Bloomfield 3.06Ghz LGA 1366 Quad-Core ProcessorGPU: GeForce GTX 560 Ti________________________________________________________________________________I need to: Update the drivers for my Mobo and change my BIOS system voltages to the most stable configuration. I have no idea what the most stable voltage settings would be, or how to test that setting once I set it.I did learn that the drivers I'm looking for are the GIGABYTE GBB36X Controller, and I can find all the relevant drivers for my specific motherboard at http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3305&dl=1#driver . If anyone would be able to help me locate the appropriate drivers I should download, walk me through how to properly install them, then give me a quick step by step on how to learn what the appropriate voltage settings for my PC/RAM setup should be, I'll be in your debt forever. I've tried google and search pages but there are so many different PC Configurations and mis-knowledge out there I'd spend both my days off working on this!Thank's for any help or advice. February 28, 201214 yr Chipset drivers are a mustUSB 3.0 too, if you are using those ports. Doesn't matter if the devices you're plugging in there are not USB 3.0Audio, if you use the board's audio tooLAN, if you are connecting to the internet with a cable to the motherboard, upgrade those tooSATA RAID, not needed unless you want to RAID some HHD's. Not your case apparently (not like it's worth it anyway)

February 28, 201214 yr Author For the BIOS drivers, do I get F6 or F8A (I mean do I want to do the BETA drivers or the latest driver that isn't a beta release?)
