  1. So I was finally excited when my wife let me buy the 500$ joystick HOTA rig and to my surprise Thrustmaster.com has been down since the 17th. Does anyone have the drivers for the joystick that can put up for download? You would make my day!! I have profiles for X plane, MS SIM and IR2 but profiles don't do me much good with windows 10 64 default drivers for them :( Thank you so much in advance!!! Jim
  2. I am on the market for freeware driver updater software that can scan my system devices for out of date drivers and update as necessary. What are the best options? Thanks.
  3. First, my system: i7 3770K @ 3.50Ghz (stock) 16GB RAM 256 SSD Corsair 1TB Seagate 7200 EVGA 670 FTW 2GB (All 4 monitors connected to it) Monitors: 3 x Acer G235H (23.5") 1 x Acer X162W (16") Equipment: Saitek Everything (Yoke, Pedals, TPM, Radios, Panel, Throttle, Switches, BIP) using SPAD Add-Ons: REX 4 Issue: I recently switched from FSX to P3D. So far I love it. Graphics are way better, better optimization of resources in new systems, my FPS don't drop from 30-35 and compared to FSX it shows how well optimized the game is in comparisson and I know they will introduce to even more optimizations (better SLI, Xfire, multi-cores, etc) Now, I've been struggling with my multi-monitor configuration. I used to run Surround for the three large screens (5760x1080) and then extend the little screen and FSX would allow me to create a new view and drag it to the small screen. In that way, I would use the three screens for scenery only and the little screen for instruments. It worked beautifully. Now with Prepa3d I can't get it to work that way. P3D won't let me drag a new window to the smaller screen in either full screen mode nor windowed. I tried with and without surround also. I'm building a Panel for a C172 and I really want to use my 4th 16" screen instead of the saitek gages or an iPad tablet to display gages as I already have the perfect small screen to be in the panel. Anyone knows what's the best way to do this 3 + 1 setup? I wouldn't mind buying a second 670 if I need to but I need/want to make this work. Right now all my screen are happily connected to my 670 and I have no problems running it that way. The card seems to support the monitors quite well The 670 runs pretty much flawlessly with P3D
  4. I am puzzled...I unplugged my pro flight yoke from its current USB port, and replaced it with my headset (my headset had mysteriously stopped working, so I tried a new port). I eventually discovered the problem for the headset. I plugged the headset into another port. I re-plugged the yoke and got an ominous message...it indicated that the yoke had not been installed (I don't remember the exact words). I've tested it in other USB ports, but nothing works! In addition, I don't see it reflected in the Device Manager. The yoke's clock screen is totally blank, and the light on the quadrant is unlit. Interestingly, my Saitek rudder pedals work fine (it shows up in Device Manager as well). In addition, my Saitek Radio panel and Multi panel are working. I've consulted MadCatz, and they suggested the following: -Open the control panel and select the System and security -Select power options -Under your current preferred power plan, please select the "Change Plan Settings" option then click on the "Change Advanced Power Settings" -Click on the USB settings tab to access the USB selective suspend setting -If you have this option disabled then enable it. If the power setting is already enabled then disable it. -Hit apply then OK and close the power options page. -Open the control panel and select hardware and sound -Open device manager -Open universal serial bus controls -Right click on any USB root hubs or the generic USB hub and select properties> power management -Untick allow the computer to turn off this device to save power I am using Windows 7 pro 64 bit; HP ProDesk 400 G1 MT; 3.3GHz; 8192MB RAM; Direct X 11; Default System BIOS. I've tried everything, but nothing has worked! Any suggestions?
  5. I can happily report that Nvidia 388.31's are working quite well for me, gained an average of 2 frames (been ages since such a thing happened) and chaseplane likes 'em also (in the panning department). Runway textures on take off are doing very well.
  6. Ok, i'm going to dive in and try them tonight (with XP10.45, my P3d is under reconstruction), as the last set from Nvidia were decent on my system. You know where to get it!
  7. Hi all, Help needed. I'm trying to install Win7 from DVD on new system build (latest 6700K & ASUS ROG Mobo) without a CDRom drive. I have a USB 3.0 stick that I made bootable and copied over the disk files but It still fails to install. Getting a missing drivers dialog during beginning of install. I also tried by making an iso and putting that on the stick and it too failed stating no bootmgr was found. Any suggestions on how to proceed are greatly appreciated. Mike
  8. I am still learning my way around the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980. How do I go about uninstalling old drivers?
  9. Hi all, I recently purchased a Saitek Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant. It worked initially but after reinstalling FSX Steam, it only seems to detect the left-hand black lever (for the throttle). The other two levers are not detected while flying. In addition, the Throttle is not listed as a Controller Type in FSX Control settings, though my other Saitek products are. When I launch the Saitek programming software, it does detect all three levers. I would appreciate any assistance or thoughts you could offer. As always, thank you very much for your help!
