I am using 14.12 Omega.  No issues. But AMD has never made good drivers so I will be dumping AMD and going Intel / Nvidia.

Same here, other than DX10 (with fixer) still being a bit broken.

So you have no issues, but AMD has never made good drivers.

Gotcha.

For new cards have no knowledge, but old cards, as my (HD6950 2GB) driver 13.1 is what the best performance, especially in P3D V2.X.

That was my experience as well.

Another consideration is, if one wants to use FSX DX10, it seems that 12.8 or earlier is required to avoid artifacts. There were some reports that 14.12 fixed this, but in my testing this was not the case.

It's not like Nvidia.

AMD drivers always break something. Very  rarely like this one works well

FSX DX10 not used, but tested older drivers (11.11 is the oldest I own), in all not noticed difference in FS9 or FSX, but in P3D V2.X, great improvement with 13.1 or older.

I've been an ATI/AMD customer for just over 7 years now (Nvidia prior to that) and I've never had any issues with their drivers. They are rock solid and much better than I ever got with Nvidia.

I'm running Crossfire as well which really pushes drivers to the limit.

This is for gaming in general, not just FSX.

They have a bad rep but those days are long gone.

In saying that, the Nvidia 970 is class leading at the moment. That's if you don't mind the fact that it only has 3.5gb VRAM (not 4gb as advertised)
