I have both. Do not use simulator with advanced instruments, but listen to opinions that CSIM has pretension to be more "professional". My favorite is QW, more FPS friend, much like the QW sound, and can I get by with navigation features, larger configuration panel facilities, fuel and others. For me always FS9 smoothly, not black screen. What will I write below is for FSX-SE: I had trouble early Windows 10. So after a cumulative update problem disappeared in 2015. Then in November 2015 with version 1511 problem returned. In early January 2016 changed video card, old 6950, current R9280, then driver Crimson version 15.12 solves problem again. I tested R9280 with Catalyst driver, problem arises. During period with problem used Pseudo Full Screen, solves problem. Now open FSX-SE settings, running full screen, no black screen, menus work normal. Do not use P3D, or FSX box so I can not comment on them problem. João Alfredo

Steam selling Piper Aztec, produced by Aeroplane Heavem. In Steam announcement, they are shown only Aztec external image, not panel images. Against negative reviews saying that panel does not work properly. Hi Elaine The draft Steam is the installation made of automatic way, without any User intervention. But this did not happen for some reason the files were in their proper place, but something did not complete the cycle. Then, in the folder where files were found some executables and batch, performed as an administrator and the airport that already installed, can now be used. I bought in Steam DLC Orbx Meigs Field. Installed and did some flights, so I made changes Orbx Control Panel. So KCGX no longer exists in FSX-SE, DLC removed and installed again, but nothing KCGX. Also performed checks integrity of FSX-SE files without positive result. I find the airport in DLC files folder, Orbx control panel has all marked options. I noticed that in scenery.cfg there is no entry for the airport. Anyone know any solution? thank you João Alfredo

I've been struggling with this problem, long time. AMD says it fixed the problem, not fix AA in profile, tested last version, which came by Windows update but does not. Then reverted to old 13.1, which perform better in P3D 2.X, Windows 10 pro 64. FSX SE running very smooth. João Alfredo

Installed, latest Catalyst version (15.7), I can not change the level of antialiasing, the options appear but can not be changed. I'm using Windows 7 64. Catalyst previous versions do not have the problem. Does anyone know of any solutions? João Alfredo

This item is called "SimConnect" and it comes in a couple of different versions. There are a number of reasons why you might or might not already have SimConnect installed, so we ask that you simply keep the following in mind: If, when you first run this PMDG product you discover that the aircraft doesn't appear to run, the cockpit displays are not present, the buttons and knobs do not work, the landing gear are retracted, the flight controls do not work, OR if you know this is the first time you have run the PMDG software and you have never been asked to activate your license key, chances are good that Dovetail has failed to properly install simconnect with your FSX-SE installation. I have it on a modest computer to current standards: Phenom IIX6 2.8ghz, 8gb ram, Radeon 6950 2GB, SSD for Windows 7 64 and FSX, conventional HD to other programs. I am very pleased with FSX Steam, I do not use ORBX,use only REX 4 Direct, FSUIPC and SweetFX. Flight 737NGX, some Carenado, RealAir, A2A, Aerosoft Airbus, Csim 777...(Csim777 is the heaviest) My long flights do not exceed 120 minutes, so do not know problems. I have FSX Steam since launch, it encountered problems while used along with FSX box on the same computer, but I changed it. I fully agree, backup is essential. well you have found the solution. His installation FSX_SE not clean. If Steam does not find traces of FSX box on your computer, FSX_SE does not create a FSX-SE.CFG, creates FSX.CFG. This is the biggest problem of the installation side by side. João Alfredo
