PMDG 777 Landing Gear Drops automatically in Cruise

Featured Replies

Good Day,

I don't know if this has been asked before and answered, but i was hoping someone can shed some light into this.  I have noticed over several occasions that in cruise for both variants 200LR and 300ER the landing gear drops automatically in cruise mode.  I am clueless as to why this happens.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Check that you do not have assignments in both FSX settings and FSUIPC.  I recently built a new system with zero based installations of both OS and flight sims and add-ons. Every time I believe I have eliminated the mishap overlaps I take a flight in a freshly installed aircraft model and find some additional overlap that I have to eliminate. Last one was a yoke button that has never for me had anything to do with releasing the parking brake. But in this case it did and thus I ran over the fueling station I was parked at! Realized I had, as I set up installed aircraft models, created model specific FSUIPC profiles. So my changes were not reflected in my default FSUIPC profile when I switched to a different craft that I had not yet established a profile for.
