Only one lever detected for Saitek throttle quadrant

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I recently purchased a Saitek Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant. It worked initially but after reinstalling FSX Steam, it only seems to detect the left-hand black lever (for the throttle). The other two levers are not detected while flying.

In addition, the Throttle is not listed as a Controller Type in FSX Control settings, though my other Saitek products are.

When I launch the Saitek programming software, it does detect all three levers.

I would appreciate any assistance or thoughts you could offer. As always, thank you very much for your help!

Saitek does write the SimConnect folder, so I'd recommend reinstalling the Saitek drivers.

That should fix things.

Thank you Dave. Interestingly enough, when I reinstall the driver for the Saitek Throttle Quadrant, it asks me to plug int he controller I want to update - my Throttle Quadrant is plugged into my Saitek Pro Cessna Yoke already. Not sure what to make of that, especially since this all seemed to work correctly before I reinstalled FSX Steam on a new Windows installation.

Turns out I need to reprogram it through the Yoke controller type. My mistake!

I believe Saitek hardware has to be disconnected before installation of the drivers. That should be in the step by step install guide. Try unindtalling them, rebooting and then reinstalling them.
