November 23, 20178 yr I can happily report that Nvidia 388.31's are working quite well for me, gained an average of 2 frames (been ages since such a thing happened) and chaseplane likes 'em also (in the panning department). Runway textures on take off are doing very well. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

November 23, 20178 yr I've been running with this version for a few days and it does seem good in general. November 23, 20178 yr An average of 2 frames! Wow! The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

I can understand newer games gaining performance with improved drivers obviously... 95% of the time when someone comes running into the forum proclaiming better FPS from a new video card driver, it’s purely a placebo effect. Sure, go ahead and download the driver, but take these posts with a grain of salt.

November 23, 20178 yr Stand by the old addage, if it aint broke then why fix it? I’ve witnessed newer drivers actually induce stutters in P3D and have recommended people rolling back to drivers from May of this year. Many users have reported success. Of course in the end its up to you. Rather than chasing higher frames, look for a smooth experience and stick with that driver.
November 24, 20178 yr Author Your going to jump me because of 2 frames....Jeepers, I'm not even going to mention our new car gets 8 more MPG than our last one. I rarely see any frame advantage from new drivers only some sort of negative thingamajig. I may have to pass on mentioning any more driver stuff.
