  1. Not sure I read your statement correct. But, with Win 11 you can both auto-hide and place the bar at the bottom of the screen--nothing required other than doing it.
  2. Looking forward to the 777. I might have to try my hand at a loooong flight or two.
  3. I'll let you know here in awhile. Your comment peaked my interest and I'm somewhat qualified to offer my opinion (this was my 1st solo flight aircraft.) Yeah. The Tomahawk is very good. The ground handling is spot on. Similar to single Cessnas, the nose wheel is not directly connected to the rudder pedals. It was a windy day and I was getting bumped around while taxiing. Really nice. The aircraft feels light and squirrelly and reacts to light turbulence similar to the Comanche. Training maneuvers (like steep turns, slow-flight, stalls and spins!) all felt very much like a good trainer should. With flaps down and 60 knots, it was stable and landed nicely. I'm impressed, but not surprised as they had this in x-plane I believe and it is JF. The sounds are really good too.
  4. I know what you mean. I don't want to fly this aircraft. It's slow. It's a basic trainer. There's noting here for me...but, it's JF and I love JF. Must...resist...arrrgh
  5. I leave it on, but seems it's hit or miss in terms of actually doing anything.
  6. One of the best aspects of MSFS is not needing a slew of addons to get things 'working'. P3D was a nightmare for me: spent more time tweaking than flying. I don't have infinite time to spare. Good luck to those who want this and the developer, but I've yet to see anything that would suggest that this is a useful addon (beyond the holy grail of historic weather.)
  7. That thing looks straight out of a Thunderbirds Are Go episode. I may get it just so I can roleplay as Scott Tracy....Zooooom
  8. I think this is right. And there's a series of YouTube videos covering the same. I wish all add-on providers were as good at this as Just Flight.
  9. To reset the default pilot view to a new position, press LCTRL + F10 once you have the camera where you want it. Set the new position, press the key combination and then press F to move to the new view.
  10. I agree. I'm just looking forward to the Dukes and these won't release till the SU15 comes out. Selfish? Naw. Serious about this? Naw.
  11. I'll say F/A-18. It really captured my imagination when I first saw one and then saw the Blue Angles preform at airshows. To me, the perfect distillation of power and agility.
  12. I was gonna guess MCAS j/k big PMDG fan.
  13. So, a Max is definite? Or is this old news...
  14. Same here. I'll fly something else: the A300 last night, for example. Afterwards, I'm thinking, Yeah. That was nice. Now, back to the Fenix. This may change with the upcoming Duke and updated 146, but for now, I'm loving the Fenix.
  15. Top shelf company. Who else releases an update like the upcoming 146 for free?
  16. This is what I was thinking. In my last flight the EFB's Navigraph portion didn't work at all. [which is when I found out that the Navigraph Charts' in-game panel will crash the sim if you try to view your OFP, if using DX12] Another thing: whoever picks the music for their videos needs to be retired.
  17. It'd be so cool to be able to splash some cash around on something like this. Enjoyed the link l)
  18. According to Wikipedia, a little less than 600 Dukes were ever built. [whereas the C-172 is listed as having 44,000 built] Interesting how mythical this aircraft is in real life and in simulated life. I can remember only ever seeing one (irl) during my ramp rat days and being filled with awe. Looking forward to this one.
  19. This means all the new aircraft waiting for SU15 to be released and any waves caused by SU15 to settle out will also be delayed. 😞 Just speculating, but yeah, seems right.
  20. No kidding. I've learned so much from this guy.
  21. Looking forward to this. I need to get out of my Fenix obsession and this will certainly help.
  22. Pretty sure you can't monitor oil levels in any non-airline aircraft. Oil pressure? Yes. Oil level is checked as part of the pre-flight walk around. Or, it is not modeled in the particular aircraft.
