AS2012 and Rex textures guide please

Featured Replies

Can anyone provide a link or guide advice to being able to load AS2012 weather and Rex textures, I like weather injection from my networked AS2012 but how do I just load weather and use textures no weather from REX which is installed on my fsx pc, thanks Wayne.

Hey m8,Its quite easy really, go in your AS2012 options and de-select whatever you dont want AS to inject, do the same for REX, disable the weather engine, check/uncheck the options you want from REX, create your theme/textures and let REX install them into FSX. When you boot up AS and you install wx based textures,(you dont even have to do that, just boot AS up and leave it at that) it will exclude the options you deselected in AS and use the ones you left plus the ones you chose from REX.I'd be more detailed on the options but i'm installing something at the mo which takes forever. You can stop AS injecting anything you dont want by deselecting it in the options.Hope that helps a bit.
